Hello! I’m Katrina but you can call me Rina. I’m an operatic soprano, voice/piano teacher, arts administrator, conductor, and I write this blog. I’m so excited to share space this with you!

Words are a big part of my life. I’ve been obsessed with them ever since I was young. I’ve been speaking full sentences since I was 2, singing songs since I was 3, and reading and writing for as long as I could remember. They are a means of self-expression, so to be in a career where I’m able to fuse my love for words with my love for music, I consider myself pretty darn lucky!

I currently live in Austin, TX with my husband in an apartment that’s overlooks a dog park. He and I are are both musicians, INFJs, and frequent musical partners. We enjoy doing many things together, inspire each other, love being silly and laughing our heads off. We’re each other’s best friend and biggest supporter.

What you will find here: Things that help me live mindfully and intentionally—bits of my life, my thoughts and musings, topics that I care about, interesting places I visit, self-care practices I try, cool things I stumble upon, and the inspiring people I meet. This space is also an extension of my creative pursuits.
